Anyangwe was speaking in Mzimba during this year's launch of the 16 days of gender activism against gender based violence.
"As UN we would like to commend the efforts by the President in ending GBV through passing of a number of instruments," she said.
Anyangwe further committed her organizations continued financial support towards the cause.
"We will continue pumping in resources towards the fight against GBV in the country," Anyangwe added.
In her remarks Gender, Children, Disability and Social Welfare Minister Jean Kalilani said government is optimistic at ending GBV in the country. Kalilani however hinted the need for further research in dealing with emerging issues in GBV.
"We have been fighting GBV against women but now it's women against each other which is worrisome,” said Minister.
