People urged to enlighten others of sad stories about MCP regime

Regional Governor for the ruling DPP in the North, Kenneth Sanga urged parents to be proactive in enlightening their children about the ills they encountered during the Malawi Congress Party - MCP regime.

Sanga was speaking at Mongo Primary School in the area of Inkosi Kampingo Sibande in Mzimba district,


Sanga said such sad stories need to be shared to the youths so that they make informed decisions in life.


“We faced hell in the Malawi Congress Party - MCP leadership, there was no freedom of any kind and we were treated like animals,” said Sanga.


He said such ills are still fresh in people hence the need to share the stories to youths so that they should help Malawians in decision making.


“No one would wish to go back to that life, a life full of segregation, a life full of ill minded people, a life full of nepotism, the unbearable life,” he said.


Speaking at the function, Campaign Director for the ruling Democratic Progressive Party DPP Jappie Mhango also hinted on the fact that people have to support the DPP and its leadership for development to continue taking shape in the country.


“Malawians do not make mistake in 2019, please do what is best for you, support President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, support the DPP,” emphasized Mhango.


The meeting was also attended by DPP Director of women in the North, Joyce Chikukula, Director of Youth in the North, Kelvin Chirambo, Traditional leaders, and many others.
