The problem of early marriages is rampant in ChitipaDistrict.  This is what moved Kameme GEWE Network Radio Listening Club to produce a program about what village heads do as one way of discouraging parents from marrying off their children before attaining the right age for marriage.

2130- Theatre of the Air. ‘Consequences’ is the title of the play written by Luke Destiny Manja, and goes with the cast of Eunice Kadzuwa as Jessie the narrator, Regina Kaiya as Linda, Jessie’s friend, Ian Simbota as Dennis, Jessie’s other boyfriend, Daniel Thom as Joshua, Jessie’s first boyfriend and Thlupego Chisiza as the doctor who attends to Jessie’s mother.
