The theme for the conference, which will be held from September 20 to 22 2018 in the lakeshore district of Mangochi, is ‘Towards Achieving Sustainable Economic Gains: The Malawi Approach’.

Speaking after handing over the cheque, Ali Nyondo, one of the Audit Partners at the firm, described ICAM as their crucial partner as it carries out trainings on current issues on taxation, audit and accounting, among others.

“The Institute plays a significant role to us as auditors…..as chartered accountants we benefit a lot from the institute and we normally make sure that we participate in the trainings the Institute conduct in the country because they impact on us as we always strive to providing value-for-money audit, tax advisory services,” said Nyondo.

AGM Global’s mission, according to Nyondo, is to develop innovative service delivery methodologies that will ensure consistency in their service delivery.

“The firm was established for the purpose of providing ‘value-for-money’ audit, tax advisory services and to serve our markets with integrity, professionalism, independence and excellence.

“We want to go the ‘extra-mile’ in the provision of quality professional accounting and related advisory services and in caring for our clients,” said Nyondo.

In his remarks, ICAM Chief Executive Officer, Francis Gondwe hailed the auditing firm saying the assistance will enable them in meeting some of the expense to be incurred at the conference.

Gondwe also said participants will share notes on best practices that will help consolidate economic gains the country has so far registered.

“We have line up a number of topics and within that there will be presentations to illustrate the economic gains the nation has achieved,” said Gondwe.

AMG Global started in 2006 and their corporate values include serving their clients with integrity, professionalism, independence and excellence; to achieve mastery in service delivery, through relentless efforts; consistently meeting clients’ expectations through commitment in understanding their needs; and to be creative and innovative in service delivery, which will be beneficial to our clients in the ever-changing environment.
