The training is expected to build the capacity of professionals from Malaŵi, Nigeria and Ethiopia on contemporary skills and cutting-edge technologies in the ground water sector.

Malawi’s Ambassador to  Ethiopia Chimango Edward Chirwa joined the Minister of Water, Irrigation and Energy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia,  Dr Sileshi Bekele and the Japanese Ambassador to Ethiopia, Daisuke Matsunaga for the opening ceremony.
