AMREF Health Africa has intensified campaign against teenage pregnancies and child marriages in Mangochi. AMREF believes this can be achieved through creation of a conducive environment where adolescents can easily access sexual and reproductive health services in the district. This has been disclosed by the organization’s Projects Assistant Officer Mphatso Mtulutsa at Lulanga Primary School ground in Mangochi during an open day on Teenage Pregnancies and Child Marriages.

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) says district councils that are well conversant with corruption detection play a crucial role in the making of a corrupt free society. ACB’s Chief Corruption Prevention Officer, Ipyana Msopole was speaking in Mzuzu during a workshop aimed at empowering district councils in the combat against corruption.

Police at Nkhunga in the lakeshore district of Nkhotakota have launched a manhunt for a 22 year old Thokozani Kaunda who is believed to be responsible for the brutal murder of a 15 year old boy Salimini Silva of Chindevu village in the area of Traditional Authority Kanyenda in Nkhotakota district.
