The research which was done by Innovation and IT specialist for UNICEF Innovation Hub Miseal Bulian who is also founder of Chiponde IT solutions, was aimed at finding out the role of women in the society.
The research will appear in Kectil Global 2018 Book titled "Youth in developing countries speak out on females in society".
Commenting on the development, Bulian said he was very happy to carry the Malawian flag on international scene.
Apart from having his research published in the said book, it will also be published in other global journals.
He added that Malawi's social activities depend mostly on women hence it should be every young person's responsibility to empower women in order to improve their social status.
Bulian said it is very unfortunate that up to now large population of women in rural areas continue living miserably despite government's efforts to improve their living standards.
However he commended efforts pressed by some youths in ensuring that escalating challenges being faced by women are reduced through various programs being implemented across the country.
The Kectil program was designed to identify and nurture highly talented youths in developing countries who have the potential to make positive impacts in their respective communities.
