The items were given during career guidance clinics held under the theme: Because the Sky is Limitless; Dream Child.

The donated items that included school bags, mathematical instrument boxes, scientific calculators and pens were sourced from local supporters and Australia’s Melbourne University Students Engagement Grant.

Thanking the organization for the kind gesture, Flossy Mkhori, said that these will encourage them to work hard on their studies in order to do well and push towards their dreams.

“We’ll work hard so that this help doesn’t go in vain,” said Flossy, a Form 4 student at the school.

A total number of 45 students have been helped.

In her remarks, Melbourne University Student and supporter of DreamShare, Crenodia Mloza Banda stressed that community leaders, especially those that have access to information, should do more to inspire the community’s children and get them motivated to work hard in school.

On the other hand, DreamShare Executive Director, Charles Kabena, thanked Melbourne University for donating to the cause and appealed to other well-wishers to come forth.

The organization further pays school fees for 419 students in 19 schools across the country.
