FOCOLD assist 40 school drop out girls

A Blantyre based Non-governmental organization has assisted 40 girls who dropped out of school due to early pregnancy.


The Foundation for Community Livelihood and Development – FOCOLD working in the areas of traditional authorities Kapeni  and Makata has given out  K800,000 to the teen mothers from seven Community Day Secondary Schools in Blantyre North East Constituency to enable them pay school fees.   


Speaking at Matindi during cheque presentations Executive Director for – FOCOLD, Jones Mwalwanda said the organization was concerned with the plight of the girls.
