ADMARC resumes selling maize

Written by  Newsroom

The Agriculture Development Marketing Corporation-ADMARC has resumed the sale of maize.

The development comes after ADMARC temporarily stopped selling the commodity to concentrate on buying.

ADMARC Chief Executive Officer Foster Mulumbe told MBC that the corporation has put in place measures to prevent unscrupulous traders from buying and selling maize from ADMARC depots at the expense of poor people.

According to Mulumbe, ADMARC has bought 30,000 metric tons of maize.
