Byson “fuso fighter” Gwayani to leave for S.A. to face Congolese boxer

One of the country’s renowned boxers, Byson “fuso fighter” Gwayani will leave for South Africa on Sunday to face his challenger, Clement Kamanga from Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC) in junior weight non-title bout.

Gwayani explained that he was supposed to leave on Wednesday but due to other circumstances with transport he is set to leave on Sunday and that the fight will take place on February 25, 2018.


“All is set to face the Congolese boxer in South Africa, I have been training hard and I promise my supporters that I will bring good results from this bout and am confident of winning it at all cost,” he promised.


Gwayani took the opportunity to thank Willy Kachepa of M1 Centre Point and Robert Matchasi for the support they gave to him and promised to bring good results home after the fight in South Africa.


Gwayani has fought 20 fights, with 18 wins, two defeats and no draw while his opponent, Kamanga has fought 8 fights with seven wins and a single defeat.
