The Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) has underscored its commitment to increase electoral coverage to the rural masses ahead of the May 21, 2019 Tripartite Elections.


Minister of Information and Communications Technology Henry Mussa has applauded Malawi Broadcasting Corporation for the service it is rendering to the nation and has called for upholding of professionalism in the core business of the institution.


Not only did the soccer match between one of the country’s top flight league teams, Blue Eagles, and a local side, Manyamula United, provided entertainment to people at Manyamula, but it also created a platform for the police and other stakeholders to disseminate different messages to hundreds of people, mostly youth, from the area.


His Excellency the President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has called on Malawians to emulate the life of Reverend John Chilembwe who was patriotic and industrious.
