Lhomwes today left all their duties and homes to do a noble duty of planting trees in all major cities of Malawi.


Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima on Friday 12 January 2018 visited disaster affected areas in Sub T/A Mbela in Balaka district. During the visit Dr Chilima, who is also Minister Responsible for Disaster Affairs, said government will do all it can to help those affected.


Following the launch of the tree planting season by His Excellency Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika President of the Republic of Malawi in December 2017, different NGOs, Faith Based organizations and companies have supported the exercise in planting more trees with the aim of reclaiming its lost glory.
