DPP walking the talk, says Chipungu

The ruling Democratic Progressive Party - DPP says it is delivering its promises made prior to 2014 tripartite elections.


A local non-governmental organisation, Gender Governance Justice and Development Centre (GGJDC) says women aspiring for political positions need empowerment for them to ably compete with their male counterparts.


Chairperson of the Malawi Electoral Commission, Dr. Jane Ansah has challenged political parties to score a point in the ongoing 50:50 campaign by appointing more women into key positions.


Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) says the campaign period for all inspiring parliamentary and local government elections candidates will run from 18th July to 20 August this year.
