Platinum wants to leave with you

Written by

The remarkable story of an underground emcee successfully infiltrating the mainstream while masquerading as an R&B artist continues with another potential club banger.

Formerly known as Platinum Word in his early years of wandering in the rap wilderness, Platinum continues to find comfort in the Rhythm & Blues home as evidenced by his new release titled Leave With You.

Set in a nightclub, the four-minute track sees the artist vibing on a girl with what he describes as a “smoking hot” body with the intention of leaving with and taking her home afterwards.

“Hold up, can I take a minute / of your time shawty I know that you can feel it / you’re the finest thing in the club / with the disco lights on the top,” he vibes on the song’s first verse.

Platinum lends the helping hand of relatively unknown rapper Ray Millz who drops a complementary above-average verse that spices things up on the business end of the song.

“I told her, baby I got plans for you / nah am not rich but I can transform you,” Millz drops his pick up lines on the second verse.

Platinum’s latest song is a follow-up to his maiden 2014 offing Up-town Girl plus the emotionally charged Sail Away and serves as Exhibit B on the evidence list in the trial of his transformation from hardcore rapper to singer.

Released under E-Ril Entertainment, Leave With You is a fresh single off the artist’s Nothing Unsaid EP.
