Speaking to MBC, Leo-G said this is the right time to give back to this long-awaited project to people of the Green City following the support that city has rendered to his talent.
“It was necessary to release this album because this is the best time to do so. I thought of launching this album here because it is my home and my fans here should be the first to hear the message before I extend it to other areas,” said Leo-G.
He said that the So Nostalgic album is a sound that is encouraging people in the society to work very hard and get all they desire in life before deciding to go back in their far and nearby home villages.
“I have more other songs for 5 albums, I will be releasing in the future and my fans must be looking forward to that,” said Leo-G.
The album has 15 songs and 8 tracks were recorded at his de Sean G records by GL (Gostino Lewis), Emmanuel Maweha of Sound System and Dj Chule of White Apple records shared production of the other 8 songs.
The launch was spiced up with performances form Skeffa Chimoto and Dan Muyaya of Real Sounds Bands as well as Antony Makondetsa and the Black Missionaries Band.
