MultiChoice Malawi has disclosed that Bollywood love telenovela channel, Zee World, is currently one of the most watched channels on DStv and GOtv platforms every time of the day.

MultiChoice Malawi Sales and Marketing Manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda disclosed this during a media retreat in Mangochi during which journalists were briefed on the exciting content that MultiChoice Malawi has for its subscribers.

Nyirenda said Zee World has leap-frogged other channels  because alot of women have fallen in love with the love telenovelas on this particular channel.

"We had interaction with our subscribers in what was called "Namaste Night" in Lilongwe last year and most of the women said they love Zee World because they can identify with the issues that female characters go through in those telenovelas. This is why most women watch Zee World," he said.

Some of the popular series on Zee World include; The Promise, Laali, Saloni, Married Again, The Vow, King of Hearts, Twist of Fate, Love Look What You Made Me Do among others.

Nyirenda said to ensure that all DStv subscribers get the best content for their money, Zee World is now available to all subscribers across the platforms from premium to Access and GOtv.

He added that MultiChoice will continue to improve quality of content for its customers by adding more new series. He said every week there are six new episodes of series being broadcast to our viewers.

Nyirenda also added that subscribers can also rent new movies through BoxOffice at K2000 only per movie which they can watch at their own convenience.

He advised those running hospitality businesses such as hotels and lodges to buy a business package because it is affordable and can easily be distributed in different rooms using a single decoder.

Due to electricity problems, Nyirenda said subscribers can also rely on Catch Up so that they view their favourite shows any time when electricity is back.
