“Made on Monday” brings urban show in Dec

“Made on Monday” an urban music show on Radio Two FM is set to host a show on 10th December that is aimed at unearthing new talent amongst the youth in the music industry.

Dubbed “Urban December”, will provide a platform for passionate urban music lovers to come together and interact with the musicians.


Speaking in an interview with the event organizer, Prince Chikweba said the event has been organized to promote Malawi Urban Music the way it does through the program which airs every Monday on Radio 2 FM from 22.00 hours.


He said once the show rolls out and has massive support; chances are high that the event will roll out to the central and northern parts of the country.


“Currently, we do not have specific sponsors of the show, rather sponsors of specific items such as Bossaro Music Group who are sponsoring a K50, 000 prize money for the freestyle winner including studio session and music video shoot by Sukez and many more,” Chikweba said.


The event will involve music free style competitions, live song premiers, live interviews, presents and music performances by notable Malawi urban music artists.


Among other artists who are going to spice up the event are Theo Thomson, Suffix, Saint, Stich Fray, Waxy K and Macelba just to mention a few.


Made on Monday is a radio programme hosted by award winning Disc Jockey, Joy Nathu, provides a platform where new songs are premiered with exclusive interviews with the artists.
