Chairperson for the wing, Gift Ndakanamwano made the assurance during a meeting they organized to materialize the “Operation Landslide” campaign ahead of the 2019 elections.
"We are not leaving any stone unturned, we will keep growing big, currently we are mobilizing ourselves until we reach the desired goal which is to ensure DPP and President Professor Arthur Mutharika win the 2019 elections," said Ndakanamwano.
In hundreds, the members said they are 100 percent behind President Mutharika whom they described as a man without questionable integrity on development and a true patriot to pillars of the party.
Echoing the sentiments, DPP Director of Youth in the North, Kelvin Chirambo said Mzuni has just displayed a very big picture of the youths in the region.
"Youth in the region are not shaken by some political parties who are trying hard to confuse and disband the party; their efforts will be in vain, they will fail," he said.
In his remarks, Presidential Advisor on Youth Affairs, Symon Vuwa Kaunda expressed gratitude for the gesture and support the youth have for DPP and its leadership.
"The party has an overwhelming support from youth, including those from institutions of higher learning across the country, they say they are aware of developmental achievements and general conduct of the party which offers hope to generations," said Kaunda.
Meanwhile the youth have called for an audience with their leader, President Mutharika to have a one on one interaction and express their love.
This comes barely days after DPP Wings from Malawi University of Science and Technology, College of Medicine, the Polytechnic, Blantyre International University, Chancellor College among others endorsed Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to lead the party in the 2019 tripartite elections.
This group of intellectuals has also reiterated its allegiance and endorsed President Mutharika as DPP torch bearer in the forth coming elections.
