The people were speaking in the area of Sub Traditional Authority Lulanga in Mangochi. The people together with their Member of Parliament Benedicto Chambo are appreciating developments such as electricity, schools, roads which are helping to changing the district for better.

Speaking at a rally that took place in the area of Traditional Authority Lulanga in Mangochi, Benedicto Chambo said President Peter Mutharika is bringing development that is transforming lives of people in the area.

“I came here to remind the people to continue working hard so that development should continue coming in this area. They should also continue supporting government and President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika. The people have assured me that they are strongly behind President Mutharika,” said Chambo.

In his remarks, Sub Traditional Authority Lulanga said it is imperative for Professor Mutharika to continue ruling this country for the sustenance of development activities in the hard to reach rural areas like Makanjira and Lulanga.

“We are hearing media reports that President Peter Mutharika should stop being the leader for this country. As people of STA Lulanga we are saying NO to that.

The President is doing a lot of development in this country. For example the President promised that he is going to construct a road from Mangochi Boma to Makanjira, if he goes as others are saying who is going to construct the road for us?” wondered STA Lulanga.
