The Mnistry of Health has partnered with Standard Bank on their upcoming “Be More Race” event saying the race continues to be used as a platform for addressing causes of non-communicable diseases, such as hypertension, that come about due to lack of exercise.

The last in the three-series of the Be More City Races in Lilongwe has lived up to its billing with over 400 taking to the road to finish the 10 kilometre preparatory race in style.

Her Excellency the First Lady Professor Gertrude Mutharika has hailed the partnership that exists between Beautify Malawi Trust and Independent Schools Association of Malawi - ISAMA in improving hygiene and sanitation across the country.

The final leg in the Standard Bank Be More City Races goes to Lilongwe on Saturday 12 May 2018, promising to become bigger ahead of the main race on June 9 in the administrative capital.
