Flames coach Young Chimodzi said he has picked a squad well blended with youth and experience for the encounter.
“It’s a squad comprising new and old players on the local scene who have been doing well since we started our training,” Chimodzi said.
“So we thought it wise that it’s their time to give them a run in Zambia to see how they can perform.”
He appealed to the players to fight hard for them to stand a chance to be considered for Confederation of African Football Associations (Cosafa) tournament.
“It will give us a chance to see the players especially the local ones so that we can now beef up with the professionals,” he said.
“So we are hoping to have a good run in Zambia and see how they are going to play.”
Chimodzi has kept faith in veteran Bullets midfielder Fischer Kondowe, seasoned striker Peter Wadabwa while Surestream FC’s Ernest Tambe, Mighty Be Forward striker Muhammed Sulumba are the budding players.
The team will be led by Football Association of Malawi Executive Member Flora Mwandira.
