During the grand draw of the promotion in Blantyre, Mulungu Wamphamvu Cluster of Mponela won One Million Kwacha, and Chikaiko of Mchinji came second with five hundred thousand Kwacha while Alinafe Maliro of Dedza came third with Two hundred fifty thousand Kwacha.
Speaking at the draw, Head of Marketing, Communications and CSR at FMB Sylvia Mataka said the promotion was a success as customers responded positively.
“The aim of the promotion is that we wanted people to experience the services we offer by doing business with us. Throughout the promotion, we have been awarding them different materials like T-Shirts,” said Mataka.
She added that following the promotion FMB customer base has increased. Mataya assured customers to expect more from the Bank.
“We have just merged with OIBM meaning that our footprint has gone up in Malawi. We pride ourselves as a friendly bank and we have always tailored our products to suit the needs of this country,” she added.
The competition started in May this year and ended in August.
