According to a letter in our possession, the Executive Committee arrived at the decision after an evaluation of the team's performance during his leadership as Head Coach for the side.

"We regret to inform you that Blue Eagles FC Executive Committee has resolved to suspend you from discharging your duties as Head Coach of the Technical Panel with immediate effect.

"The Executive found that you are failing to maintain and enforce the team's spirit of discipline and conduct both on and off of the field of play. We are wishing you well during the period of suspension," reads the letter signed by the club's Chairperson Alexander Ngwala.

The suspension follows Blue Eagles' back to back loses to Mighty Be Forward Wanderers and Kamuzu Barracks.
