The Northern Zone Basketball Association League - Nozobal defending Champions Nkhulande will play Pistons in the final Play-offs.

Nkhulande reached the finals after defeating North Eagles 76-38 and 99-51 on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Pistons who played Moyale on Saturday saw their game come to an end due to bad weather that brought about darkness, forcing the referees to stop the game and ordered to be continued on Sunday. However, Moyale did not turn up on Sunday which gave Pistons a plain sail on to the finals.

Last year the game between the two teams was also forfeited because Moyale did not show up on the second game.

These two finalists will play a three series play-off games on 2nd, 9th and 16th December 2017 with the 16th being the prize presentation day. NKhulande has been dominating the Nozobal Basketball Championship for 5 consecutive years.

The Vice Captain for Nkhulande, Patrick Munthali applauded his team mates for the eagerness to fight hard as well as the winning mentality they have.

On the other hand, Pistons are also ready to avenge the loss they suffered last year from Nkhulande in the same final.

“This time around, we are ready to humiliate them,” said Moses Mzumara captain for Piston.

Unlike last year with no sponsorship, this time around GY Exports and Imports has sponsored the Nozobal Championship.
