The game played at Kamuzu Stadium registered a total of 40,281 entries with only 8,124 correct predictions in the on-going football fans promotion dubbed Zampira.

The long-term sponsor of the top-flight league, TNM Plc announced this during the fifth monthly draw conducted in Blantyre on Wednesday.

TNM’s Head of Marketing Sobhuza Ngwenya said there has been an increase in numbers of supporters participating in the month of August.

“We have registered a total of 106,398 entries in which 11,123 were correct predictions for the month of August and the huge prediction came from the second round match between the Blantyre giants Nyasa Big Bullets and this is very encouraging to us,” said Ngwenya.

Ngwenya said with few games to go before winding up the 2018 season, supporters still stand a chance of winning different prizes including motorbikes and the grand prize of K1.5 million cash.

“Football fans and our customers still stand a chance to win in this promotion, TNM will continue splashing out cash and other prizes until the end of the season so I encourage them to take advantage of the remaining games to increase their chances,” he said.

Ngwenya announced that the games between TN stars and Mzuni FC as well as Silver Strikers and Civil Sporting Club are the prediction games for this week.

Launched on April 26, 2018, Zampira aims to engage soccer fans directly through sending predictions of selected weekly TNM Super League games results.

The 2018 Zampira Promotion runs from April 26th until the close of the TNM Super League season in December 2018. To continuously engage soccer lovers, a daily question is being generated and participants qualify into a draw for a weekly K100,000 prize.
