Speaking during the donation, Human Resource Administration Manager for Kentam Products Limited, Godfrey Shaibu said the company appreciates the role Police plays in ensuring security in their business environment hence the support.

“For us to live in a safe and secure environment and for our business to thrive, we rely on security agencies like the Police. They wrote us a proposal outlining the need to facelift Mzuzu Police Station; there were many needs there, but we thought of assisting with whatever little we have to support our station”, said Shaibu.

Mzuzu Police Station Officer in Charge, Lovemore Mwabumba, called for other stakeholders to support the Police as there are a lot of things to improve on which government and Police alone cannot manage to do.

“Mzuzu Police Station was constructed long time ago. The building needs renovation. We have started repainting it, but we still need more support to ensure that our officers are working in a conducive environment,” said Mwabumba.
