New Director General for the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) George Kasakula says his vision is to ensure that the public broadcaster advances the interests of all stakeholders in the country.

He was speaking on Tuesday morning after reporting for duty following his appointment as Director General for the Corporation.
According to Kasakula, under his watch, the public broadcaster will take a new direction on matters of news coverage and programming, saying the institution is for all Malawians. 
'I am impressed with what I have seen here, the  infrastructure is good and I must say MBC has the best equipment for radio and TV. 
"What Malawians want now is a different MBC in terms of news, programs and we are taking that direction," said Kasakula. 
Before his appointment, Kasakula was Editor in Chief for privately owned Times Media Group.
