In the promotion, all what TNM customers have to do is to top up airtime worthy a minimum of K100 and in return stand a chance of winning up to K500, 000 grand prize at the end of the promotion in March.
And On Wednesday, the company conducted its second draw in the promotion where 80 lucky customers won K20, 000 cash each across the country.
TNM Business Development Manager Yamikani Bakuwa said his company came up with the promotion basically to encourage Malawians to start topping up electronically.
“This promotion has been established to transition customers from using the paper vouchers and start toping up using electronic platforms,” said Bakuwa.
He also added that throughout the promotion, TNM has doubled the bonus customers receive every time they top up using Mpamba, from10 percent to 20 percent.
Reacting to the money prize, one of the lucky winners, Kumbukani Phiri, a street vendor from Blantyre said he was short of words that a mere K100 airtime he bought some days ago has earned him K20, 000.
“This is just unbelievable. I only topped without even thinking about the promotion,” he said after TNM sought his reaction.
