United Democratic Front (UDF) and UTM candidates have pulled out of the 30th March 2021 by election in Nsanje District. This came to right during vetting exercise which happened on Thursday, 11th of March 2021.


Save for one, Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) candidate, freshman politicians have dominated Lilongwe Msinja South Constituency by-election and are promising massive developments such as tarmac roads, cooperatives, new school blocks and even personal foundations.


Five candidates have expressed interest to contest in Lilongwe south constituency by-election, slated for November 5.


Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) vice president for the Southern Region Kondwani Nankhumwa on Tuesday told a huge gathering in Phalombe that the Peter Mutharika led administration was not yet done with the district in as far as development was concerned.
