MPS receive 15 new Land cruisers

The Malawi Police Service-MPS has added 15 brand new vehicles to its fleet as the cops thrive to make the country more secure.

Presenting the Toyota Land cruisers, new Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security Atupele Muluzi asked the police officers to treat the vehicles as they would their personal cars.

Receiving the vehicles Inspector General of Police Lextern Kachama thanked government for purchasing the vehicles saying this will reduce some of the service's transport problems.

 

The vehicles, now totaling 50 were bought in fulfillment of President Professor Peter Mutharika's campaign promises and will be used for patrols.
