Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development Minister Kondwani Nankhumwa confirmed the development, saying Jumbe, who was board chair of the grain marketing body, is serving in an acting capacity.
Nankhumwa said government has lined up a number of chances which will affect Admarc in a bid to improve service delivery.
The changes at Admarc come after employees demanded the removal of Roka-Mauwa, apaparently accusing her of mismanagement.
Roka-Mauwa has since been seconded to Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development as controller of agricultural extension and technical services with immediate effect.
There have been calls from stakeholders to overhaul Admarc, which still depends on Capital Hill for its operations.
