A statement signed by Llyod Muhara, Chief Secretary to the Government, said Chimango Chirwa, Malawi Ambassador to Ethiopia and the African Union has been recalled to take up a position in the Public Service.

Muhara said the diplomatic appointments are subject to confirmation by the Public Appointments Committee of Parliament.

Both Chazama and Msiska are senior officials of the governing DPP.

Chazama is former minister of Gender, Disability and Social Welfare in the DPP administration, while Msiska once served as junior minister during the coaltion government of UDF and Aford.
