Moderator for the CCAP Blantyre Presbytery, Reverend Masauko Mbolembole said in some countries churches have made investments for income generation.

Reverend Mbolembole was speaking at Saint James CCAP Church during the dedication of a new bus for the church.

He said the new bus, “God is good Number 2”, will assist the church to minimize transport costs and provide easy mobility in the spread of the Gospel.

“We always look forward that our congregations will keep growing numerically as well as spiritually and development aspect. The coming of the bus is a great achievement that as a Presbytery we are grateful,” said Rev. Mbolembole.

In his remarks, Rev. Enoss Muhiwa of Saint James said the vehicle will also assist in the operation of the church’s schools.

“The bus will help us to expand the Church's mission. When you talk about issues of mobility, churches like this need to have means of transport. We consider this bus as a donation to the Kingdom of God,” he said.
