Four arrested in connection to shop breaking in Bangwe

Police in Bangwe have arrested four suspects in connection to the breaking of Bangwe PTC shop but their identities have not been disclosed as investigations are underway to make more arrests.

According to Limbe Assistant Public Relations Officer Widson Nhlane, investigations are still on to arrest some people in connection to the crime.

 

“Unknown criminals broke into the mentioned shop during the night of March 18, 2017 and went away with items such as: soap, beers, biscuits and sweets worthy undisclosed amount. Investigations were launched immediately; so far four suspects have been arrested plus recovering some of the stolen items,” said Nhlane.

 

He said currently police officers are on the ground to arrest the remaining suspects and recovery of some items stolen from the shop.

 

He however commended the general public for cordial relationship with the police in fighting crime in the country by providing vital information to the police.
