A Malawi Defence Force soldier identified as Corporal Robert Banya is reportedly to have shot down two fellow soldiers in Ntcheu, the MDF spokesman Major Paul Chimphanya, has confirmed, identifying the victims as Corporal Keston Mtambo and Corporal Gift Magombo.
One of the two soldiers shot down by Banya who is on the run.
The soldiers were working on the Tsangano-Neno-Mwanza Road which is being constructed by the MDF.
Banya is on the run as the MDF have launched a man-hunt for him in order to establish the motive behind the gruesome murders.
The incident happened Friday.
