Musi Ndi Ntondo crooner Huji (real name Bongani Kalambo) last week released the club banger online making it available for download for the first time since its release on 13 June.
“I saw it wise for people to finally have the song they’ve been requesting on the radio on their playlist. It’s like rewarding them for being loyal fans,” he revealed.
“It’s been an amazing journey and a new thing for me. For the first time in my music career I’ve had more kudos than negative feedback. I’m surprised because I never expected such a positive response.”

Huji had originally arranged to shoot and release visuals for Musi Ndi Ntondo a few months earlier, only to have those initial plans shelved for what he called musical reasons.
Asked if a music video to the infectious club anthem is still in the works, the artist said: “There’s only one answer to that; time.
“What I can say for now is that yes we’re going to release a music video for the song. As for when that will happen, the answer is; not so soon and not too late.”

Musi Ndi Ntondo was released online on Monday 14 September.
The Steve Spesho-produced hit single is available for download at malawimusic.com.
