Following an official handover of books to Malawi College of Accountancy - MCA in Blantyre by Adventist Development and Relief Agency - ADRA Malawi, there is a cordial relationship between the private sector and institutions of higher learning in supporting the education system.

The College’s Vice Principal, Gideon Phiri said there is need for a multi-sectoral approach to improve the quality of education in the country and then described the donation of books as timely.

“This is something that we have been looking forward to and the books that have been received today are all in line with our syllabus. We take this gift with a sincere heart and we are very appreciative. These books will help the students achieve their goals,” said Phiri.

The Vice Principal as an institution of academic excellence, it is their mandate to deliver quality education to their students through the resources available like the books.

“We have a very secured library in all our campuses and our control system on borrowing and giving back is secured and up-to-date. We are certain that if more private organizations come in to support academic institutions then our education system will get better,” explained Phiri.
