Blantyre United emerged winners of the Master Security Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) Premier League while Chitipa won the Simama Northern Region Football Association (NRFA) Premier League.
Likewise, Master Security were crowned Chipiku Stores Central Region Football Association of Malawi (CRFA) champions.
Blantyre United completed the campaign with 84 points while second-placed Mitra Icons finished with 83 points.
Chitipa United finished with 89 points with second-placed Kaporo FC amassing 87 points.
The Northern Region based side sealed the championship following a 1-0 victory over Mchengautuwa in their last game at Chitipa Community Centre Ground.
“We thank God for this success. It was not easy. Our focus will now be switched to the TNM Super League preparations,” said Phikani Nkhata, Team Manager for Chitipa United.
While Blantyre United coach Safarao Pompi said they deserved to win the title and expressed optimism that they will stay put in the top flight league.
The teams that have been chopped from the TNM Super League are Max Bullets, Civo FC and Karonga United.
