First round winners will pocket K1.5 million from sponsors, TNM plc and the winner will be known by close of business on Sunday.
Wanderers top the 16-member log table with 33 points from 14 games while KB have got 28 points from 13 games.
Silver Strikers, who completed the first round campaign with a 2-1 home win over Mlatho Mponela last Sunday, are third with 28 points from 15 games.
The Nomads will conclude first round with a home encounter against Moyale on Sunday while KB will host Masters Security and Mzuni FC on Wednesday, August 14 and Sunday, August 18, respectively.
A win over the Mzuzu based side will enable the Nomads to put bed the first round prize battle. Wanderers, who won the league in 2017, have so far recorded 10 wins, three draws and one defeat while KB have won eight games, lost once and drawn four times. KB won the league in 2016.
In other games, Ntopwa are scheduled to host Moyale at Kamuzu Stadium while Dwangwa United, who are anchoring the log table with eight points from 14 games, host Nyasa Big Bullets at Chitowe Stadium. Civil Sporting and Masters Security will battle it out at Civo Stadium.
