JTI committed to improve LL infrastructure

JTI Malawi, one of the country’s tobacco buyers says it remains committed to contributing to the Lilongwe city’s infrastructure by improving access roads to Kanengo industrial site to facilitate easy transportation of tobacco.

JTI Managing Director in Malawi Fries Vanneste was speaking during the commissioning of the road which the company has rehabilitated.  

 

Vanneste said the company embarked on the project as one way of contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.   

 

The road has cost the tobacco company K52 million.
