Reports indicate that the thugs broke into the house of the two boys where they stole various items in the wee hours of Tuesday 28th June 2016.

The attack come barely a week after a 13 year old boy was found killed in the same area by suspects who were arrested by police over the weekend.

“We have launched investigation into the murder of 23 year-old Bruno Mwale who was murdered in cold blood as he wrestled with thugs alongside his 21 year-old brother, Wilfred”, said Blantyre Police deputy publicist Andrew Mayao.

The body of the deceased was taken by the Police while Wilfred remains unconscious at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH).

“This is sad news to us as police because at the time when we were about to cerebrate the arrest of four suspected over the murder of a boy who was found dead last week, another incident has comes up,” added Mayao.

He however assured people of the area that they are secure as they have beefed up security in the area.

Images of the deceased in cold blood show deep cuts at the back of the head an indication that he may have been stubbed by a sharp object.

About four weeks ago a former MBC employee Dexter Kanike was also brutally murdered in his house in Chirimba and police say they have not yet arrested anyone to that effect.
