Students enrolling for and those undergoing teacher training will from the next academic year start paying tuition fees.

Confirming the development in Parliament, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Technology Vincent Ghambi said those who will be undergoing teacher training in all government colleges will be required to pay tuition just like students of any other institution in the country.

“The system is effective next academic year and it’s aimed at improving the level and state of teachers colleges in the country,” said Ghambi.
