According to a press release, le Roux brings with him a wealth of experience in banking, spanning 38 years in the financial sector having held progressively senior leadership positions in a number of African countries within the Group.

Before coming to Malawi, he was Regional Head, Corporate and Investment Banking Credit, Standard Bank West Africa holding a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Business Management from the University of South Africa.
