Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development Allan Chiyembekeza was opening the International Tobacco Growers Association African Regional Meeting in Lilongwe.

Chiyembekeza said tobacco generates 60-percent of the country’s revenue.

He said government will ensure the sustainability of the industry.
