Over 20 new people are registered on 15th and 16th July 2015 throughout the three centres in the ward.
Speaking to MBC, Supervisor for Jerusalem Centre Davis Kumwenda said the turnout was expected to rise over the week end.
“The turnout is expected to rise Saturday and Sunday because those we register are mostly students who are busy within the week,” Said Kumwenda.

However, Supervisor for Mundewa Centre Fiskani Nyirenda urged stakeholders to intensify civic education to register as many people as possible.
“There is a need for stakeholders to go round and remind people about the registration so that we register as many people as possible in readiness for the by election,” said Nyirenda.
While Supervisor for Mbawemi Centre Francisco Nkhoma said it was natural for people to start panicking as the registration exercise come towards the end.
