Speaking on departure at Chileka International Airport on her way to Beijing, China, Lanjesi said it is an honor to go and tap knowledge from the Chinese and the trip will be a great eye opener.
“This is a rare opportunity and I look forward to learning great things during the one month that I will stay in China. China has advanced technology skills in the field of poultry and by the time I am back, it is my hope that my business will not be the same,” Lanjesi said.
She thanked MBC for the special recognition in last year’s innovations award and said the award shows that people are able to recognize and reward hard work and effort.
Public Relations Officer for MBC, Chembezi Mhone said the Corporation’s Motto is to “Inspire the Nation” and these innovation awards are in line with its vision.
“We will continue to commit ourselves in developing the nation and we want to promise that the innovations awards will continue to change people’s lives. Mrs Lanjesi is one of the numerous people that have travelled to China to enhance their skills through these awards,” said Mhone.
