Mulhako wa Alhomwe organises a youth conference

As the days for this year’s Mulhako wa Alhomwe celebrations draws closer, the Mulhako wa Alhomwe-MWA has announced plans to equip youth with entrepreneurial skills from the 1st to 4th October.

Disclosing the development to MBC, the Mulhako wa Alhomwe’s Chief Executive Officer Muchanakhwaye Mpuluka said as a grouping they value the youth hence the conference

Meanwhile it has also been disclosed that the conference will also equip the youth on health tips, knowledge on career choosing and culture.

“We are planning to have 250 youth for the conference who will be drawn from all the districts through our existing structure,” said Mpuluka.

Mpuluka said the conference will among others offer the youth a platform to earn life changing skills.

The conference will take place at Malawi University of Science and Technology-MUST in Thyolo.

The cultural group announced that this year’s event will honor former president Bingu wa Mutharika who was its founder, former chairperson Bright Mangulama and Ngolongoliwa.

This year’s commemoration will take place for three days from October 11, with climax activities on October 13
