Slessor campaigns for Minibus Commuters in new single

One of the country’s hip-hop artist Slessor has released a music video and single titled Swagg ya Kabaza which is tackling problems commuters experience in the country.


Slessor who intends to take a new dimension in his music career has disclosed that his video is yet to hit the country`s major Television stations.
The phwando la lero star expects to take Malawi music by storm as he claims to have tackled relevant issues in his music.
“There are so many issues that we face which urban artist in the country ignore like the day to day struggles of Malawian commuters which includes transport costs with much emphasis on minibus fares,” explained Slessor.
This is the second release this year from Slessor born Slessor Munthali who apart from `Phwando la lero` he is well known for hits like ‘Heart Breaker’ and ‘Wa Matama’.

The HB records signing, is a rapper, singer and songwriter and currently works with Malawi Institute Of Journalism (MIJ) as a broadcaster.

He has been active in the music industry since 2009 but released his first mix tape titled Renaissance in 2014.
