As the world commemorates Stroke Day,  October 29, a stroke specialist with Malawi Liverpool Welcome Trust, Dr. Yohane Gadama, says there is the need to bring more awareness on the non-communicable disease, more especially to the urban community.


As Russia moves to build closer ties with Africa, officials of one of the global leaders in  nuclear energy, Rosatom, have expressed interest to invest in Malawi.


President professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has said that African countries have huge potential and opportunities to develop if their economies are streamlined with global economies.


Government says it is working hard to attract investors in the energy sector.
